Some clients need more than a standard personal training session. Here's where my specialist qualifications come in.
A health condition is not a barrier to training — it changes how we train. I hold a Diploma in Exercise Referral, which qualifies me to work safely with clients managing a wide range of conditions.
- Cardiovascular conditions — high blood pressure, previous heart attack or stroke
- Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes — including blood sugar management during sessions
- Joint and musculoskeletal conditions — arthritis, chronic back pain, hypermobility
- Post-surgery recovery — cleared by your physio or consultant
- Pregnancy and postnatal — with appropriate medical clearance
